3 expats arrested for smuggling drugs into Oman

Muscat: Three expats have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for attempting to smuggle narcotics into Oman.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, arrested three expatriates while they were smuggling narcotic drugs into the Sultanate. Seized from their possession were 50 molds of crystal drug and 20 molds of hashish. The legal procedures are being completed against them."
