Thunderstorms forecast across parts of Oman

Muscat: Parts of Oman may witness thunderstorms associated with active winds, Oman Meteorology said on Sunday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Chances of rain of varying intensity, thunderstorms at times, accompanied by active winds to continue on Sunday, along with the possibility of overflowing wadis in the Al Hajar Mountains, adjoining areas, coastal areas of the Sea of Oman and parts of the Musandam and Dhofar governorates."
