Illegal fishing boat seized in Oman

Muscat: The  Fisheries Control Team in Al Wusta Governorate has seized two illegal boats and 25 fishing nets in the Wilayat of Mahout.

"In  continuation of the efforts of the Fisheries Control Team in the governorate to seize unlicensed boats and prohibited fishing nets, two unlicensed fishing boats and 25 pieces of prohibited nylon scorpion nets were seized in the Wilayat of Mahout," the Directorate General of the Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources in Al Wusta Governorate said in a statement.
