Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has foiled an attempt to smuggle about 124 molds of crystal drug and 39 molds of hash.
"The Coast Guard Police in South Al Batinah Governorate, in cooperation with the General Department for Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control, managed to seize a boat carrying two suspects in possession of 69 molds of crystal drug. Legal procedures against them are being completed," ROP said in a statement.
"In another incident, the control teams thwarted two smuggling operations of 55 molds of crystal and 39 molds of hash, in cooperation with citizens who reported the presence of two boats near the beaches of North Al Batinah and Musandam governorates," ROP added.
