Dhofar Municipality continues maintenance work after cyclone Shaheen

Muscat: Dhofar Municipality is continuing its efforts to clean up after Cyclone Shaheen hit North Al Batinah Governorate.

"Dhofar Municipality continues to contribute to governmental and civil efforts to deal with the effects and damages of the climatic condition Shaheen in the wilayats of North Al Batinah Governorate," Dhofar Municipality said in a statement.

"Dhofar municipality team, in coordination with the municipal affairs departments in the wilayats of Al Khaboura and Suwaiq, is removing waste from residential neighbourhoods and public roads. They are carrying out drainage work in waterlogged areas after the heavy rains and also spraying insecticides," the Municipality added.
