Fumigation continues to prevent diseases in cyclone-hit areas of Oman

Muscat: The medical services of the armed forces sprayed the houses and water ponds with materials for disease vector control of insects.

“ Anxious to maintain the environmental health of the risk of contamination and the spread of diseases and epidemics in the areas affected by the tropical situation, the medical services of the armed forces sprayed the houses and water ponds with materials for disease vector control of insects and followed up all sites that gather water, in order to preserve the safety of public health, according to the operations plan of the Main Military Committee for Emergency Situations Management,” the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.
