Fisherman arrested for using illegal nets in Oman

Muscat: Fishermen have been arrested for using illegal nets in Muscat Governorate, Ministry of Agricultural, Fisheries and Water Resources said.

"The Fisheries Control Team in the Governorate of Muscat with the support of the Coast Guard Police, arrested fishermen in the Wilayat of Seeb practicing fishing using illegal nets this morning. The procedures against the violators were completed along with the confiscation of the seized nets," the Ministry said.
