Four arrested for drug smuggling attempt in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested four people for attempting to smuggle 1,522 packages of khat drug.

"The Coast Guard Police in Dhofar Governorate arrested four smugglers of foreign nationality while they were trying to smuggle 1,522 packages of khat on a boat. Legal procedures are being completed against them," ROP said in a statement.
