Muscat: Most governorates in the Sultanate of Oman witnessed dust storms on Sunday and this will continue for the next two days, Oman Meteorology said in a statement.

Oman Meteorology said in its daily weather forecast: "There are hazy and clear skies over most of the governorates with moderate to fresh wind causing dust rising over desert and open areas and noticeable drop in temperature. There are chances of late night to early morning low-level clouds or fog patches over Al Buraimi and Al Dahirah governorates."

The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 22 degree Celsius and 13 degrees respectively in Muscat, 13 degrees and 4 degrees in Saiq, 21 degrees and 9 degrees in Ibri, 21 degrees and 12 degrees in Rustaq, 22 degrees and 10 degrees in Haima and 18 degrees and 11 degrees in Khasab.
