Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested two people from Muscat Governorate on charges of stealing from 12 shops, and four people from North Al Sharqiyah Governorate on charges of coercive theft.
The ROP said in a statement: "Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested two people on charges of vandalism and theft from 12 shops in the Wilayat of Seeb. They used a motorcycle to carry out the theft."
The North Al Sharqiah Governorate Police Command also arrested four people on charges of coercive theft, after they harmed a victim and stole money in his possession and his mobile phone."
Legal procedures against them are being completed.
