Oman's food safety performance stable: Council of Ministers

Muscat: Oman has stable food safety performance, the Council of Ministers said on Sunday.
In its statement, the council discussed the Sultanate’s food safety ranking, which was reported by an international research company.
The council emphasized the role of private sector in investing in fisheries, animals and plants projects.
Members of the council directed authorities to develop animal production through establishing central markets for livestock.
They also emphasised the need for border control on food.
