Citizen arrested for deliberately crossing wadi in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested a citizen for deliberately crossing Wadi Bani Ghafer in South Al Batinah Governorate.

"South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested a citizen for crossing Wadi Bani Ghafer in the Wilayat of Rustaq. His vehicle had stopped in the middle of the wadi and was later rescued by citizens. The legal procedures are being completed against him, " ROP said in a statement.
