Muscat: Jordanian Public Security announced the evacuation of the last person from under the rubble of a collapsed building, bringing the number of deaths to 14 deaths and 10 injuries.
“Today, the Jordanian General Security announced the final death toll from the collapse of the Al-Weibdeh building in the centre of the capital, Amman, after the last body was recovered from the place. Bringing the number of deaths to 14 deaths and 10 injuries,” Oman News Agency said.
Colonel Amer Al Sartawi, the official spokesman for the Public Security, said in a press statement that according to the investigation revealed about those inside the residential building, all those trapped have been found. He explained that the search for survivors lasted for 84 hours.
