The Zubair Corporation Hosts Project Presentations for HIMMA Programme – Module 4

The Zubair Corporation (TZC) announced that the participants of ‘HIMMA’ programme concluded the final workshop as part of Module 4. During the workshop, the participants presented their proposed projects to the senior management and their line managers across the Zubair Group.

Hosted at Bait Al Zubair Museum, the workshop is one of HIMMA’s practical learning activities in, which includes dividing the participants into groups to work on those projects with the support of the Group's specialized staff based on the type and the objectives of each project. As preparation for this activity, TZC’s Human Capital Department organized a workshop with the line managers of HIMMA participants to discuss the project proposals and to choose the ones that meet the strategic objectives of TZC and its subsidiaries.

Commenting on the workshop, Adil Al Rahbi, Group Chief Transformation Officer said that the first batch of HIMMA programme achieved remarkable success, as the participants showed outstanding performance not only in presenting projects, but also in their determination to implement them on the ground through proposing plans to implement those projects after the end of the program, which confirms that HIMMA offers a continuous and experiential learning journey.” Al-Rahbi added: “The projects presented by the participants covered pivotal aspects, including those related to innovation, digitalization, improving the quality of performance while reducing costs and increasing profitability, in addition to creating a productive work environment”. Al Rahbi concluded that one of the most important outcome that worth highlighting is that the participants submitted strategic projects in areas outside the scope of their specializations or the companies they work for within the Zubair Group, which confirms TZC’s commitment to create a productive and innovative talented generation that has cross-functional exposures and career ventures in various fields across the Group and to provide the high potentials and star performers with the opportunity to grow personally and professionally.

‘HIMMA’ programme is one of the initiatives launched by the Taskforce for Empowering High-potential Omani Talents, which aims to develop Omani talents across all group companies and create a productive work environment based on a culture of performance, productivity, and innovation. The programme was designed in cooperation with Impact Management Services (IMS), a local human capital development and performance management consultancy.
