Muscat: A number of the Sultanate of Oman's governorates may witness thunderstorms accompanied by active winds on Tuesday.
"The Sultanate’s atmosphere continues to be affected by an air depression which may lead to rain of varying intensity, thunderstorms, accompanied by active winds, on the governorates of Musandam, North Al Batinah and South Al Batinah, and the Al Hajar Mountains," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
The meteorology warned of a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility during thunderstorms and the flow of some reefs and valleys.
According to meteorology, the sea wave rises from medium to rough on the coasts of Musandam Governorate and the coasts of the Sea of Oman, reaching a maximum height of 2.5 meters during the formation of thunderstorms.
