Muscat: Two expatriate women and a man were arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) on charges of defrauding shop owners in North Al Batinah Governorate.
Royal Oman Police (ROP) said: “North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command arrested 3 people of Arab nationalities, including two women, on charges of defrauding shop owners by agreeing with them to buy certain goods, canceling the deal before completing the payment process, and then demanding a return of the purchase value after deluding them of receiving the amount.”
Person arrested in foreign theft case
In another case, The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Research has arrested a person of Asian nationality who is wanted by an Arab country on charges of committing several crimes of theft from residential buildings. The legal procedures are being completed against him.
