The National Museum board approves holding of exhibitions abroad

The Board of Trustees of the National Museum, in its tenth meeting on Wednesday, reviewed a number of issues, notably approving the schedule of external exhibitions that will be hosted in 2023 and 2024. The meeting, which was held at the museum’s headquarters under the chairmanship Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, Chairman of the Council, dealt with the approval of the annual report for the year 2022 for financial affairs, the Department of Museum Education and Community Communication, the Acquisitions Department and the Communication and Media Department, and the approval of work plans and programmes related to cultural diplomatic relations or international cooperation.
