Muscat: A tropical depression is likely to form in the Arabian Sea during the next five days, without any effect on the Sultanate of Oman.
Oman Meteorology said in a statement: "The latest forecasts and updates of the National Multi Hazard Early Warning Centre indicate chances of a low pressure area forming in the southeast of the Arabian Sea within the next 48 hours. It is likely to develop into a tropical state (tropical depression) later during the next five days, without any effect on the atmosphere of the Sultanate of Oman."
