Oman condemns Israeli attacks on Jenin and West Bank

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the repeated Israeli attacks on the city of Jenin and the Palestinian camps in the West Bank.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Foreign Ministry expressed its firm position and support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, in accordance with the two-state solution, relevant Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The Sultanate of Oman also reaffirms the importance of the international community assuming its responsibilities in this regard in accordance with international law, and in order to achieve a just and comprehensive peace.
