Over 35 expats arrested for Labour Law violations in Oman

Muscat: An inspection campaign conducted by the Ministry of Labour (Mol) in the Wilayats of Nizwa and Samail, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate resulted in the arrest of more than 35 expatriates for violating Labour Law.

"The Ministry of Labour, represented by the Office of the Joint Inspection Team at the Directorate General of Labour in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, conducted an inspection campaign in the Wilayats of Nizwa and Samail. 41 workers have been arrested for violating the provisions of the Labour Law. The legal measures are being taken against them, " Ministry of Labour said in a statement.
