Expats arrested for possessing over 58,000 cigarette cherries in Oman

Muscat: Oman Customs has arrested three expats for possessing more than 58,000 cigarette cherries after it raided a site for expatriate workers in the Wilayat of Suwaiq, North Al Batinah Governorate.

Oman Customs said in a statement: "The Compliance and Risk Assessment Department raids a site for expatriate workers in the Wilayat of Suwaiq after tracking and monitoring efforts, revealing a site for storing and distributing prohibited and restricted cigarettes, and seizing three defendants in possession of more than 58,000 cigarette cherries."
