Chances of rains in Oman

Muscat: There are chances of rains over the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate and Al Wusta Governorate, with the possibility of thundershowers spreading to neighbouring governorates in the coming hours.

The General Directorate of Meteorology in its weather update on Saturday said that cumulus clouds have formed over parts of Al Wusta Governorate in the Wilayat of Duqm, where rains of varying intensity fell.

The rains are expected to continue on Sunday over the governorates of Al Wusta, Dhofar and south Al Sharqiyah, and extend in the afternoon to North Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah and South Al Batinah.
