Muscat: The Pakistan Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Imran Ali, has urged his countrymen to stay safe and avoid Al Wadi Al Kabir area where security operations are still continuing.
In a message on social media, the ambassador urged people to keep restraint and said that the injured in last night's shooting incident are recovering well in various hospitals.
He made an appeal to people not to go towards Al Wadi Al Kabir. In a video, the ambassador said that the Sultanate security forces are working hard to handle the emergency situation. "We request all Pakistanis living in Oman to cooperate with the local administration," he said.
He also said that emergency phone numbers have been circulated to help Pakistani community in hospitals.
