Diving enthusiasts visit first underwater museum in Daymaniyat Nature Reserve

Muscat: The tourism and diving company, and diving enthusiasts were allowed to visit the first underwater museum after they obtained the necessary permits to enter the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve, said the Sultanate of Oman's Environment Authority (EA).

The Authority said in a statement :"The Environment Authority notes that visiting the military equipment site in the Daymaniyat Islands Natural Reserve is an underwater museum currently available to tourism and diving companies and diving enthusiasts. Obtaining the necessary permits is mandatory to enter the reserve as followed through the Authority’s website, and the necessity of adhering to and following the approved safety procedures for diving activity when visiting the museum."
