The Legation of the Sultanate of Oman, composed of Legate Beatrice Franceschi, the Italian Ambassador H.E. Pier Luigi D’Elia (honorary member), and Academics Raffaella Murdolo, Benedetto D’Anna, Francesco Gargano, and Flavio Fazzuoli, was established for the first time in Muscat in 2022, with the aim of promoting Italian cuisine abroad and safeguarding the gastronomic heritage in its tradition and variety. Recognized by the Accademia Italiana della Cucina, the Legation has among its various objectives the awarding of recognitions to the most deserving gastronomic establishments abroad, serving as ambassadors of traditions, taste and good dining “buona tavola”.
In line with these principles, the Legation of the Sultanate is pleased to confer the “Diploma della Buona Cucina” to the Tuscany restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Muscat. The ceremony of the delivery of the “Diploma della Buona Cucina” took place on 23rd September at the Tuscany restaurant at the Grand Hyatt Muscat, featuring a customized menu curated by Chef Giuseppe Lioce.
