Muscat: A low-pressure area is expected to develop in the Arabian Sea between 17 and 20 October 2024, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology.
In its latest weekly bulletin, the Directorate highlighted the increased probability of tropical activity forming during this period. However, it added that the chances of the weather system affecting coastal areas of the Arabian Sea remain low, with any potential impact expected to begin on 22 October.
The Directorate further said that any significant updates will be communicated through additional bulletins, which may be issued as needed throughout the week.
