OQEP wins ‘IPO of the Year’ award at Times Business Leadership Summit

Muscat: OQEP was recently felicitated with the Times ‘IPO of the Year’ award at the Times Business Leadership Summit held at The St. Regis Al Mouj Muscat.

The company had come up with the largest IPO in Oman’s history. It was the largest Gulf IPO since 2023, and one of the largest in the broader Europe, Middle East and Africa region in 2024.

The IPO was oversubscribed by 2.7 times, with total proceeds amounting to approximately OMR780 million reflecting strong confidence from both local and international investors in the company.

His Excellency Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, handed over the award at a glittering ceremony to a senior OQEP representative.
