Central Blood Bank in Baushar to be closed temporarily

Muscat : The Central Blood Bank in Baushar will be closed temporarily on Monday, December 23, 2024 for maintenance and expansion work. 

Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), said in a statement :"In order to do necessary maintenance and expansion work on the Department of Blood Bank Services facility, we would like to notify you that the Central Blood Bank in Bousher will be closed to donors on Monday, 23rd of December 2024. Work will be resumed normally on Tuesday 24th December 2024."

" We apologise for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause. However, we assure you that we are committed to meeting the blood supply requirements of hospitals utilising the available stock. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding, " the statement added
