SAF Chief of Staff meets military commanders in Iran

Tehran: Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), met today with several military commanders of the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of his official visit to Iran.

He met with Maj.Gen. Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Iran.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on several military matters of mutual interest.

SAF Chief of Staff also met with Maj.Gen. Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief Commander of the Iranian Army.

The two sides discussed several matters of common interest.

SAF Chief of Staff also met with Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the presence of the Omani Ambassador to Iran.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of military cooperation between the two countries.

The meetings were attended by some senior officers from both sides.
