Washington: Meta has officially announced the availability of Arabic language support within its intelligent assistant Meta AI, allowing millions of users in the Middle East and North Africa to use it in their native language, according to a statement published by the company on its official website.
Meta is set to gradually roll out its intelligent assistant to other Arab countries over the coming weeks and months.
Meta affirmed that Meta AI is now available in 42 countries in 13 languages to serve 700 million users across its various applications.
Users can summon the virtual assistant by typing @Meta AI in chats on Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger to ask for suggestions or answer various queries.
The company plans to introduce other AI tools, such as the Imagine Me feature to generate personalized portraits and simultaneous dubbing tools for short Reels videos on Instagram and Facebook.
Meta's official Arabic Facebook page will host an educational series to guide users on crafting effective prompts, making it easier to make the most of AI in their personal and professional tasks.
