Europcar Oman and Bahrain proudly hosted the landmark 10th edition of the Europcar Open on Friday, 6th December 2024, at the prestigious Al Mouj Golf. With over 150 players in attendance and a vibrant Gala Evening Dinner and Prize Distribution, the event marked a major milestone in the region’s amateur golfing calendar.
The tournament featured an Individual Stableford format and an Inter-Club Championship with six top golf clubs — Al Mouj Golf, Ras Al Hamra, Ghala Valley, La Vie, Sifah, and Dubai Hills — vying for team honors.
A key highlight of the tournament was the Division A Men’s Stableford Champion, Mr. Hussain Dad, who scored 37 points to secure his title. As a reward for his outstanding performance, Mr. Dad received an exceptional prize package: a luxurious weekend stay at The St. Regis, Muscat with breakfast for two, and two Business Class flight tickets from Gulf Air to any of their global destinations — generously sponsored by Oman United Agency Travels (OUA Travels).
Mr. Dad recently redeemed his prize and chose to travel to the Philippines, a golfer’s paradise known for its lush, world-class courses. His journey included several unforgettable rounds on spectacular Philippine greens, adding a remarkable chapter to his golfing story.
“I’m deeply grateful to Europcar for this incredible opportunity,” said Hussain Dad. “Winning the tournament was already a special moment, but being able to travel to the Philippines and play on some of the most beautiful courses in the world truly elevated the entire experience. It’s something I’ll never forget.”
