Solar Eclipse: Parts of Middle East to go dark for 6 minutes on this date

Muscat: A rare total solar eclipse will occur on August 2, 2027, plunging parts of the world into darkness for over six minutes, the longest such event visible from land in over a century.

The eclipse’s path of totality will pass over southern Europe, North Africa, and parts of the Middle East, offering skywatchers in those regions a once-in-a-lifetime celestial spectacle.
