Oman crime: ROP foils drug smuggling attempt

Muscat: A smuggling attempt was foiled by the Directorate General of Narcotics Control at Muscat International Airport.

Officers arrested a man of Asian nationality and confiscated a large amount of psychotropic capsules from his possession.

A source from the DG of Narcotics Control said that the suspect was referred to the public prosecution to proceed with legal procedures.
