Hailstones and thunderstorms predicted for areas of Oman

Muscat: Oman is likely to witness thunderstorms accompanied with hailstones later today, the Meteorological Department reported.

Forecasters are predicting isolated thundershowers over Al Hajar mountains and adjoining areas.

"There is a chance that wadis will be overflowing with water in the coming hours," the Meteorological Department tweeted.
