Sayyid Fahd reviews ties with Cyprus foreign minister

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers received yesterday Ioannis Kasoulidis, Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Republic of Cyprus.
The Cypriot Foreign Minister conveyed greetings of President Nicos Anastasiades of Cyprus to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said along with his best wishes of permanent successes to His Majesty and the Omani people further progress and growth.
They reviewed the relations between the two countries and means of supporting cooperation in several areas, besides activating pacts and memorandums of understanding signed between the two sides. They also reviewed the current developments in the regional and international arenas.
Kasoulidis affirmed his country’s appreciation of the policy being pursued by the Sultanate in its relations with the world’s countries, stressing the importance of this visit for exchanging visions and consultation. He also praised the existing coordination between the foreign ministries in the two countries.
The meeting was attended by Andreas Panayiotou, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Sultanate.
