OPWP names new chief executive officer

Muscat: Oman Power and Water Procurement Company (OPWP), which is a part of Nama Group, has announced the appointment of Yaqoob bin Saif bin Humood Al Kiyumi as the Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Yaqoob is a graduate of the first cohort of the National CEO programME and has more than 20 years of experience in different sectors at both technical and leadership roles.
He has obtained his Bachelor’s degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering from Coventry University in the United Kingdom, and has previously worked for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) and Occidental Oman in the oil and gas industry. He also had a long exposure to the manufacturing industry by working for Sohar Aluminum prior to joining OPWP over 3 years ago.
