Oman's Majlis Al Shura approves postal proposal

Muscat: Proposals of the visualization of the Services and Social Development Committee on the final documents of the Universal Postal Union in 2012, were approved by the Majlis Al Shura on Monay at its 8th regular session of the 1st annual sitting (2015/2016) of the 8th term (2015-2019) held the under the chair of Khalid bin Hilal Al Ma'awali, Chairman of Majlis A’Shura.
The meeting began with briefings on a number of laws referred by the Council of Ministers, including the Law of Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism, the GCC Veterinary Products System, as well as Arab Convention for the Regulation and Transplanting of Human Organs and Tissues, Arab Convention to Prevent Human Cloning, in addition to the reply of Council of Ministers on its proposal to open educational majors at the colleges of applied Sciences.
It also discussed the report of the seminar on autism, including the recommendations and observations. Majlis Al Shura instructed to hold a joint meeting between the Services and Social Development Committee and Health and Environment Committee to discuss the report and agree on final recommendations.
The meeting reviewed the replies of several ministers about some of the topics presented by members of Majlis Al Shura as questions and inquiries about some development projects.
