Muscat: Oman’s first budget airline – SalamAir – will increase its frequency to Doha starting from Wednesday.
“Starting from this Wednesday, Salam Air will increase its frequency to Doha to six flights a week," Salam Air announced on Tuesday.
At the end of November, SalamAir launched its first daily direct flights from Muscat International Airport to Hamad International Airport in Doha with five flights a week.
Operating six weekly flights from Muscat International Airport to Hamad International Airport, the new route will offer guests convenient timing, affordable alternatives to the Qatari capital Doha and connectivity to a wider network of destinations.
In October 2017, SalamAir launched its first daily direct flights from Muscat International Airport to Dubai International Airport with two flights a day.
The brainchild of ASAAS—a national investment and development company—SalamAir was formed to meet Oman’s rapidly growing demand for air traffic, which is expected to grow by 40 per cent by 2019.
