Qantas flight makes emergency landing at Muscat International Airport

Muscat: A Qantas flight made an emergency landing at Muscat International Airport in a bid to save the life of a passenger.

However, the passenger died before the flight landed.

Speaking to Times of Oman, an official of the Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC), said that the flight was at Muscat International Airport for a couple of hours on Friday before it took off again.

“There was a medical emergency situation on board which forced the flight to land here,” the official said.

The flight was going to Dubai from Melbourne when the control tower at Muscat International Airport received a call for emergency landing.
