November 1
Military Concert

Watch the musicians from the Royal Guard, the Royal Oman Police, Oman’s Royal Army, Navy and Air Force and the Combined Group of the Royal Cavalry and Camel Band march in beautiful formation while they play the classic military music at Royal Opera House Muscat from November 1 till 3rd, from 7pm onwards. The concert will be further enriched by leading bands from Poland and China. For other details contact the office at ROHM.

November 2
Spot an Oryx

If you want to see Arabian Oryx drive to Duqm and reach to a place called Habhab. From there take the unpaved road to Jaluni for about 30km to reach Al Wusta Wildlife Reserve to have a glimpse of this animal.

November 3
Grand Duqm’s Rock Park

And while you are in Duqm don’t miss visiting Wadi Nafun, which is just a few kilometres after Duqm. You can also go to Nafur beach for a refreshing swim. Just before sunset, visit Duqm’s Rock Park. Make your imagination go wild seeing the limestone formations created more than 45 million years ago.

Enjoy a short drive to Barka

If you want to go on a short drive cross Seeb and visit the bright and busy town of Barka. It has parks, gardens, spas and an ostrich farm as well. Take a stroll in Naseem Garden and once done relax in the park and enjoy some snacks.

November 5
Visit Sifah

This long beach, around 45km south of Muscat, offers some stunning views of the Hajar Mountains. The tarmac road leads to the beach near to a seafood restaurant, but you could take the off road north to access the secluded stretch.
