Oman weather: Rain likely in parts of Sultanate

Muscat: Rain may fall in Oman as skies darken in parts of the Sultanate, say forecasters.
“Chances of rain in Oman as skies are cloudy in Oman,” the meteorology department tweeted in its official twitter handle.
During the rain in the first week of this month, two people lost their lives when their vehicle was swept away by flood waters in Qurayat.
Many roads that link provinces such as Nizwa, Ibri, Bahla, Rustaq, Sinanah and Nakhal in the north were flooded and caused traffic snarls.
Heavy rain were reported in Ibri, Bahla, Nizwa, Dima wa Tayeen, Nakhal, Awabi,Izki Rustaq, Yanqul, Dhank, Barka, Seeb Bausher, Mutrah and Samiyl provinces, resulted in flash floods.
