European child rescued after falling from cruise in Oman

Muscat: A five-year-old European boy was rescued by coast guards and locals after he fell off a tourist cruise boat, in the wilayat of Diba in Musandam, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said in a statement.
After the parents noticed that their son was missing, they called the Royal Oman Police coast guards.
“Following the SOS message, the coast guard team rushed to the spot and rescued the boy,” the statement said.
ROP officials, along with citizens, searched the waters near the cruise where they found the missing boy.
The child is now in good health and his father has thanked the locals and the ROP for their efforts in saving him.
