Muscat: An aerial video of Jabal Atin, shot yesterday, as Khareef season begins in Dhofar governorate, turning the hills green.
Jabal Atin in Salalah is one of the most famous tourist hubs of Dhofar during Khareef or the monsoon season and it is known for its green hills.
Ahmed Al Hafeedh, who shot the video on Sunday said:,"The weather is cloudy and some areas are seeing rainfall, tourists have started visiting Dhofar to enjoy the Khareef weather."
According to the Public Authority of Civil Aviation (PACA), the temperature in Salalah is 29 degrees celsius and 28 degrees in Al Halaniyat and Sadah while it is 25 degrees in Dhalkut and 24 degrees in Qairoon Hairiti.
"Clear to partly cloudy skies are forecast along the coastal area of Dhofar governorate," PACA added
Beside Jabal Atin, Salalah city also attracts many tourists due to a large number of attractions including including the gold souqs and hand-crafted jewelry souq.
