Honour for Oman at Jordan Summit

Amman: The Sultanate has bagged the appreciation certificate for equality in gender in basic and post-basic education awarded by Women in Parliament (WIP) Global Forum 2016 held in Amman, Jordan.
^{The Sultanate’s delegation to the forum was chaired by Dr. Suad bint Mohammed Al Lawati, vice chairperson of the State Council who received the certificate.}
More than 260 woman parliamentary members have participated in the forum which is the first one to be held in the Middle East and North Africa.
