Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah calls for urgent blood donations

Muscat: A shortage of donors has prompted Sultan Qaboos Hospital in wilayat of Salalah to call for urgent blood donations on Friday.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Health (MOH), said: "In light of the Corona pandemic and climatic conditions in Dhofar Governorate, the Blood Bank of Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah suffers from a severe shortage of blood and its derivatives especially platelets, so we invite the honourable citizens who can reach the hospital to come and donate blood."
