Bizzare: Woman in India files for divorce stating husband doesn't fight with her

Muscat: A woman in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, has approached a Sharia court seeking divorce after 18 months of marriage, stating that her husband loved her too much and did not fight with her.

Indian newspapers reported the case and quoted the woman as saying that her husband would help her with chores and even cook food for her, refusing to get into any argument. She told the court that she felt suffocated by the relationship.

She was further quoted as saying that she did not want to live in a marriage where her husband agreed with her for everything or forgave her every mistake. The Sharia court predictably dismissed her plea, terming it frivolous and asked the couple to resolve their differences internally.
