Oman Customs uncovers cigarette smuggling operation

Muscat: Oman Customs uncovered a smuggling operation of more than 1900 boxes of cigarettes hidden tightly in a truck designed for this purpose.

Oman Customs said in a statement, "The Investigation and Risk Assessment Department seizes a truck in the Rusayl Industrial Area and uncovers a smuggling operation of more than 1900 boxes of cigarettes, which the accused deliberately concealed in a professional manner (designed for smuggling operations) at the base of the trailer."
