Muscat: The village of Misfat Al Abriyyin in the wilayat of Al Hamra, the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah attracts thousands of tourists to enjoy nature and ancient heritage, as well as lovers of heritage tourism and adventure tourism from inside and outside the Sultanate, Oman News Agency (ONA), said.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The people worked on restoring the old houses of the village until it became a tourist destination, as there are so far six heritage inns containing more than 70 hotel rooms and a heritage house or an integrated museum that includes everything related to the life of the ancient Omani village."
"Many local and international works have been implemented in this village, the last of which was with the British Discovery Channel, and it is expected that the tourism movement in the village and the wilayat of Al-Hamra in general will witness a rapid growth by the end of this year," the statement added.
