Students of school in Oman to shift to distance education method

Muscat: Students of the Qantab School will complete their studies remotely starting from 28th March 2021 till a date that will be determined later, according to the epidemiological data, the Directorate General of Education in Muscat Governorate announced.

A statement issued online by Directorate General of Education in Muscat Governorate said: "Based on the high rate of Covid-19 cases in the Sultanate and in order to preserve the safety of students, the supervisory committee of the Directorate General of Education in the Governorate of Muscat and the Directorate General of Health Services in the Governorate of Muscat decided to transfer the study of students of Qantab School in the wilayat of Muscat from the blended education system to online education starting from Sunday, March 28, 2021, until a date that will be determined later."
