Oman hockey veterans win title in Kuwait

Muscat: Oman Veterans Hockey Team won the title at an international veterans hockey tournament organised in the Kuwait recently.
In an exciting final, Oman Veterans B team edged Kuwait Veterans 2-1 to take the top honours.
A total of five teams competed in the tournament with Oman sending two teams and the hosts fielding three.
Mohammed Shambeh Al Raisi, chief of Omani delegation, thanked hosts Kuwait and their official Sheikh Khalid Al Salman Al Sabah for organising the tournament.
Oman's Adil Al Balushi was declared the best player of the tournament. Oman team was captained by Yusuf Darwish and Mustafa Al Lawati was manager of the team.
